Overview:
The Equitech Futures Institute Oxford (EFI Oxford) is a four-week, intensive summer program designed to cultivate the next generation of global technology leaders. In collaboration with the Rhodes Forum on Technology and Society, EFI Oxford brings together aspiring entrepreneurs, researchers, and civic leaders from around the world to learn how to apply emerging technologies to address global challenges such as climate change, healthcare, and more.

The EFI Oxford curriculum is designed for future technology leaders and addresses global challenges through three key lenses:
A Computational Lens: Learn how AI and data science can solve real-world problems.
A System Lens: Explore how governments, markets, and the social sector can collaborate to create solutions.
An Ethical and Societal Lens: Focus on building human-centered, ethically sound technological solutions.

Eligibility Criteria:
Age: Applicants must be between 18 and 24 years old on July 6, 2025.
Status: Applicants must be enrolled in university studies or on a gap year.
The program welcomes individuals from all academic, professional, geographic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. We particularly encourage women and underrepresented communities to apply.
