AUA Merit Scholarship
TextThe AUA Merit Scholarship is awarded to new applicants of programs starting from 2023, based on the grade point average (GPA) from their previous academic qualifications. For Master's applicants, the GPA from their Bachelor's degree is used, and for Doctoral applicants, the GPA from their Master's degree is considered.
Scholarship Overview:
Eligibility:
The scholarship is available to all new applicants starting from 2023, with awards based on their academic performance.Master's Applicants: Based on GPA from the Bachelor's degree.
Doctoral Applicants: Based on GPA from the Master's degree.
Scholarship Duration:
Master's students: The scholarship is granted once a year for three years.
Doctoral students: The scholarship is granted once a year for four years.
Scholarship Award Amounts:
Cumulative GPAMaster’s StudentsDoctorate Students3.00 to 3.33$150 (per year)$150 x 3 = $4503.34 to 3.66$250 (per year)$250 x 4 = $1,0003.67 and above$350 (per year)$350 x 4 = $1,400
MDiv Students are also considered for this scholarship for four years.
Annual Review and Adjustments:
The AUA Scholarship Committee will review the performance of all students receiving this scholarship each year and adjust the scholarship amount based on the student’s GPA within the relevant range.
Application Process:
The AUA Scholarship Committee will meet and take actions to grant scholarships according to the guidelines above.
