Overall Purpose of the Job:
The purpose of the role is to teach and train students in ICT, following TVET guidelines, and ensure students acquire relevant practical skills in ICT.

Persons' Specifications:
Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. Academic Qualifications:

    • KCSE C (plain) aggregate or equivalent.

    • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher National Diploma in relevant areas of ICT from a recognized institution.

  2. Experience:

    • At least one (1) year of teaching experience in a technical college as a trainer.

  3. Professional Requirements:

    • Registration with the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) as a Trainer.

    • Knowledge of KNEC examination procedures.

    • Training from TVET Curriculum Development, Assessment and Certification Council (TVET CDACC).

  4. Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in relevant computer applications.
