OVERVIEW

As a Technical Program Manager II, you will play a key role in driving the charter of the Windows Application Compatibility Team. This team ensures that the Windows OS remains the platform of choice by maintaining compatibility for millions of applications and devices.

You will partner with an engineering team responsible for maintaining and enhancing in-box infrastructure and tooling. This includes planning, feature development, and extending capabilities to meet in-market demands and organizational priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

• Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Product/Technical Program Management, Data Analysis, Product Development, or equivalent experience.

• Strong cross-group collaboration skills.

• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.

• Preferable experience in Program Management (PM) or Technical Program Management (TPM) with expertise in OS, embedded systems, or similarly complex technological domains.

Preferred:

• Proven experience in cross-functional or cross-team project management.

• Ability to read and/or write code (e.g., for product demos or documentation).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with internal partners to enhance Compatibility quality in OS releases.

• Support the App Compatibility charter by:

  • Planning work.

  • Writing technical specifications.

  • Driving feature development.

  • Aligning with internal stakeholders.

• Use data-driven insights to resolve customer issues and inform business decisions.
