Job Summary
Our client, an on-demand courier service that delivers products via a mobile app, seeks to hire a Team Operations Manager. The successful candidate will drive strategic planning, optimize processes, lead a team of professionals, and manage stakeholder relations to ensure seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning and Execution
Develop and implement operational strategies to align with organizational goals.
Establish short-term actions that align with set OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
Ensure scalability and adaptability of operational plans to meet evolving business needs.
2. Process Optimization
Evaluate and improve existing processes to boost efficiency.
Identify gaps in workflows and develop solutions to enhance productivity.
Lead initiatives for continuous improvement and innovation within the team.
3. Team Leadership
Manage and mentor Team Leaders and Quality Assurance (QA) staff, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide actionable feedback.
Design and implement professional development plans for team members.
Promote collaboration and resolve conflicts to maintain a productive work environment.
4. Reporting and Analytics
Track and report key operational metrics to senior management.
Analyze data to identify trends, forecast needs, and support informed decision-making.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on operational performance and outcomes.
5. Stakeholder Coordination
Act as the primary point of contact between the direct manager and RTO stakeholders.
Collaborate with stakeholders to address issues, resolve conflicts, and improve cross-functional workflows.
Provide regular updates and progress reports on operational projects to the direct manager.
Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Proven experience in operations management or a similar role with a track record of delivering results.
Skills and Attributes:
Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to achieve performance metrics and drive operational improvements.
