Position Details
Job Title: Shares Officer IV
Job Ref: HR: KP1/5B.2/1/3/1677
Reporting To: Senior Shares Registrar
Key Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day shareholder relations and provide timely information as required by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA), Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE), Central Depository and Settlement Corporation (CDSC), shareholders, potential investors, and other authorized entities.
Coordinate investors/shareholders briefings organized by the company.
Liaise with institutional investors, including the Government of Kenya, on their investments.
Enhance investor/shareholder relations by providing relevant and accurate information.
Assist the Senior Shares Registrar in preparing the company’s Annual Report and organizing Annual General Meetings (AGM).
Monitor the company’s share performance on the Nairobi Stock Exchange.
Undertake corporate actions such as managing shareholders' meetings or investors’ briefings, share splits, rights issues, and bonus issues.
Undertake any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Appointment Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in social science, business management, finance, or a related field from a recognized university.
CPS/CPA Part II certification.
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in share registration work.

Valid Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
Valid Tax Compliance Certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA).
Current Clearance from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC).
Current Report from an approved Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
