SENIOR PROCESS AUTOMATION ENGINEER AT CIC

PURPOSE

Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager, the Senior Process Automation Engineer will play a key role in advancing the company’s digitization agenda. This position involves designing and implementing intelligent automation solutions, workflow enhancements, and digital transformation initiatives. The role contributes to operational efficiency, cost reduction, and improved digital capabilities while maintaining high engineering standards and promoting innovation.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Develop and maintain high-quality, well-tested code adhering to industry standards and best practices.

  2. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership for automation projects.

  3. Design, develop, and deploy scalable full-stack solutions for automation and digitization.

  4. Implement and manage intelligent automation using UiPath for Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

  5. Develop and maintain portals with React, Java Spring Boot, and Python for scripting and automation.

  6. Orchestrate complex workflows using tools like Temporal.

  7. Create low-code/no-code solutions using Corteza and Power Platform.

  8. Ensure seamless application deployment and monitoring on AWS and OpenShift platforms.

  9. Apply Agile methodologies (Kanban and Scrum) for project management.

  10. Optimize and manage databases using MySQL and PostgreSQL.

  11. Identify opportunities for process reengineering to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

  12. Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders to understand and document end-to-end process flows.

KEY SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND COMPETENCIES

Academic and Professional Requirements

  • Education:

    • Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience Required

  • Relevant Experience:

    • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in relevant fields.

Technical Skills and Competencies

  • Proven expertise in full-stack development, including front-end and back-end technologies.

  • Proficiency in React, Java Spring Boot, and Python.

  • Experience with RPA tools and low-code/no-code platforms like Corteza and Power Platform.

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and containerization (e.g., OpenShift).

  • Extensive experience building APIs and services using Java and Microservices architecture.

  • Familiarity with cloud-native platforms supporting global-scale users.
