Role Overview:
The IRC is seeking an Information Security Senior Manager to join its Security Operations (SecOps) team. The role is operational and involves managing security monitoring systems, investigating security events, and supporting vulnerability scans. The ideal candidate will have experience with tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, ServiceNow, Qualys, and ZeroFox.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor SIEM systems to identify security incidents and threats.
Investigate escalated security events and apply corrective actions.
Conduct vulnerability scans using tools like Qualys and lead remediation efforts.
Train the service desk on SecOps processes and ensure effective triage.
Generate reports on security metrics and provide insights on the security posture.
Utilize Microsoft Sentinel for threat detection, ServiceNow for ticket management, and ZeroFox for social media security.
Lead and mentor a team of Security engineering staff.
Proactively monitor and report on endpoint health, patching, and compliance.
Manage vulnerability remediation and incident handling across global resources.
Evaluate and implement new security technologies.
Provide security guidance to the business and enforce global security controls.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of configuration management platforms.
Key Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field.
Work Experience: 3-6 years in IT system design and operations; 1-3 years in IT security.
Technical Skills:
Experience managing SOC or CIRT operations.
Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (M365 E5 stack), firewalls, and encryption.
Hands-on experience with tools such as ServiceNow, Microsoft Defender, and Azure Entra.
Expertise in handling Incident Response and maintaining confidentiality.
Familiarity with security frameworks (CISSP, NIST, etc.) and compliance regulations (PCI, GDPR, CCPA).
Leadership: Ability to mentor teams and provide guidance across functions.
Language Skills: English required; French and Arabic a plus.
Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, or other relevant certifications preferred.
Working Environment:
Hybrid (remote and office work). Occasional travel (up to 5%) with two annual trips to the New York HQ.
