Sales Executive - Apparel and Garment Industry

The Sales Executive will play a crucial role in driving sales and business growth for the organization by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities. The role includes building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, conducting detailed market research, and staying updated on industry trends. The Sales Executive will also handle product demonstrations, prepare sales reports, negotiate contracts, and ensure the provision of high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively seek and identify new business opportunities through research, networking, and cold calling.
Conduct product demonstrations, present tailored solutions, and negotiate contracts to close sales.
Gather customer and market data to identify needs and align with company products and services.
Promote company offerings to existing and potential clients to maximize revenue and market share.
Utilize cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events to build a pipeline of prospects and initiate meaningful relationships.
Regularly monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to adapt strategies for increasing sales.
Prepare comprehensive sales reports on a quarterly basis, analyzing trends, client feedback, and sales performance to refine sales tactics and approach.
Assist with tender applications and follow through on potential opportunities in the apparel and garment industry.
Ensure consistent service quality by adhering to the company’s service standards and following up with clients to maintain satisfaction.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
A Degree or Diploma in Sales and Marketing or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in sales, particularly in the high-volume stitching and garment industry.
Strong understanding of sales techniques, negotiation strategies, and market dynamics.
Experience in financial reporting and analysis to support sales strategies and performance tracking.
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficient in using computer applications and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
Confidence, resilience, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
Self-motivated with a strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
