Job Description
Overview:
The Regional Supply Chain Coordinator will support two regions, focusing on building supply chain capacity and developing talent for future leadership roles. The position involves driving excellence in supply chain operations through strategic initiatives, capacity building, and enhancing supply chain practices.
Major Responsibilities:
Support analytics, oversight, and reviews of country program supply chain outputs.
Monitor risks, performance, and internal audit corrective actions.
Build capacity across supply chain functions, in line with the Learning & Development model.
Improve program delivery by strengthening sourcing, procurement, planning, and risk management practices.
Manage warehousing, fleet, and asset management improvements.
Coordinate with two RSC Directors in a matrixed reporting structure.
Job Requirements
Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years of supply chain management experience in nonprofit leadership or regional roles.
Skills & Expertise:
Deep understanding of aid sector supply chain processes and donor regulations.
Proven project management, team management, and coaching abilities.
Familiarity with ERP systems and data analysis.
Knowledge of Health SCM.
Education:
Degree or equivalent certifications in supply chain and management.
Language Skills:
Fluency in English and one other IRC major language (French, Spanish, Arabic).
Preferred Skills:
Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team.
Organizational change experience.
Working Environment:
Remote work possible when not deployed to an IRC country program.
International travel up to 50-70%.
Compensation:
Compensation ranges apply to US-based candidates and are determined based on location, experience, and job requirements.
