Role Purpose

• Lead actuarial teams across regional entities.

• Provide strategic insights and ensure financial stability.

• Optimize risk management and drive innovation in product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategy:

  • Develop and implement actuarial strategies aligned with corporate goals.

  • Support regional leadership with insights on profitability and market dynamics.

  • Ensure consistent actuarial practices across regional entities.

• Actuarial Functions:

  • Oversee actuarial valuations, financial reporting, and solvency monitoring.

  • Lead pricing, product design, and experience analysis to enhance profitability.

  • Manage risk frameworks, ALM strategies, and reinsurance arrangements.

• Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Present actuarial reports to Boards of Directors and key stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as IFRS 17.

• Leadership:

  • Build and lead high-performing teams.

  • Foster collaboration, innovation, and professional development.

• Continuous Improvement:

  • Drive automation and innovation in actuarial processes and tools.

Qualifications & Skills

• Academic & Professional:

  • Master’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.

  • Fellowship or near-Fellowship with a recognized actuarial body.

  • 8–10 years of actuarial experience, including team leadership.

• Core Competencies:

  • Expertise in life insurance actuarial principles, IFRS 17, ALM, and regulatory frameworks.

  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
