OVERVIEW

A leading provider of sustainable energy solutions in Nairobi, Kenya, specializing in renewable power systems and energy efficiency services, is looking for a proactive Project Documentation Lead. This position requires someone with a technical understanding of energy management concepts who can craft client-focused Installation Plan Documents (IPDs). The successful candidate will balance technical knowledge, storytelling, and design expertise to create clear, client-friendly documents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Design IPD Templates: Create a client-focused Installation Plan Document template that includes:
- Why Matrix: Aligns the project purpose with client goals.
- What is Energy Management: Simplifies key concepts.
- Problem Identification: Highlights insights from site surveys.
- Plan of Action: Outlines detailed installation steps.
- Expected Results: Defines tangible outcomes and deliverables.
Simplify Technical Concepts: Translate technical details into simplified, value-driven narratives that resonate with non-technical stakeholders.
Visual Storytelling: Use visuals, charts, and infographics to enhance storytelling and improve the client experience.
Collaboration: Work closely with technical and BD teams to gather data and ensure alignment with client objectives.
Process Refinement: Regularly review and refine the IPD process to improve its efficiency and impact.
Final Review: Serve as the final checkpoint for all IPDs, ensuring professionalism, clarity, and consistency with client goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Understanding + Simplification: Ability to translate energy management concepts into client-friendly terms.
Storytelling Expertise: Strong communication skills for crafting compelling, client-focused narratives.
Collaboration: Experience working cross-functionally with technical, sales, and project teams.
Document Design Skills: Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, InDesign, Adobe, or Canva.
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in reviewing and packaging data into polished deliverables.
