Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Product Control Officer to join our Group Functions team at CIB Finance. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining a strong financial control environment within the Global Markets business and ensuring compliance with financial accounting and reporting standards.
Key Responsibilities
Support in embedding a robust financial control environment within the Global Markets business.
Perform bookkeeping for trades in various Global Markets portfolios in compliance with accounting standards.
Serve as the primary control function to ensure all financial reporting adheres to international standards.
Facilitate the rollout of new Global Markets products by ensuring adherence to accounting and financial standards.
Qualifications
First Degree in Finance and Accounting.
Experience Required
2-3 years of experience in Product Control and Finance & Value Management.
Proven ability to gather, analyze, provide, and interpret financial data.
Basic understanding of Investment Banking, Global Markets, and other core products.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software tools for data preparation and reporting.
Key Skills and Attributes
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of financial control principles and international accounting standards.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage tasks independently.
