Oracle Database Administrator at KCB Bank
TextKCB Bank's Technology Infrastructure department is seeking a highly skilled Oracle Database Administrator. The role focuses on the planning, implementation, and maintenance of mission-critical Oracle database systems. The candidate will ensure database availability, performance, and reliability, work with application development teams, and implement recovery and backup strategies for smooth business continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Oracle database systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
Perform capacity planning, tuning, and database maintenance.
Design BCP and HA solutions for uptime and mission-critical applications.
Ensure conformance to security standards and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in ICT or related field.
7+ years of IT experience with at least 7 years in database management.
Experience with Oracle RAC, Dataguard, RMAN, Exadata Engineered Systems.
Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) required; OCM preferred.
Additional experience in MySQL/PostgreSQL is a plus.
