Job Purpose:
The Marketing Manager for Britam Asset Managers (BAM) will be responsible for driving customer engagement and revenue growth. This includes developing and implementing marketing strategies that align with business goals, analyzing market trends to identify opportunities, and managing campaigns across various channels.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Campaigns:
Develop annual BAM marketing strategies in collaboration with the Head of Marketing.
Formulate annual marketing budgets in coordination with the Corporate Director and Head of Marketing.
Align marketing strategies and campaigns with BAM segment leads, understanding product offerings and target customers.
Manage and coordinate BAM segment marketing, advertising, PR, and promotional activities in liaison with the Group Marketing Manager.
Website & Content Management:
Oversee BAM segment content on the company website, ensuring it is developed and updated regularly.
Coordinate development and innovation of BAM segment products.
Brand Development & Management:
Steward the BAM segment brand to support its vision, positioning, and overall business goals.
Ensure effective management of all BAM brand assets to deliver a strong Britam brand and grow brand equity.
Plan and execute marketing activities to establish and maintain BAM’s market presence.
Conduct brand, competition, customer, and consumer trend analysis to enhance brand equity.
Market Intelligence & Sales Enablement:
Analyze market behavior and identify opportunities for BAM product demand generation.
Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates BAM’s products in the market.
Assist in launching new products and managing cross-functional implementation.
Digital Channels & Social Media Management:
Oversee BAM segment content on the company’s website and social media channels.
Measure the results of digital advertising campaigns and create content with the digital agency.
Collaborate across internal teams (marketing, product, technology, etc.) to enhance SEO opportunities and optimize digital campaigns.
Develop, implement, and monitor digital marketing campaigns (PPC, email, SEO, SMS, videos, blogging).
Research & Reporting:
Perform market analysis and research on financial services trends.
Follow up on weekly and monthly reports from agency partners and ensure timely execution.
Evaluate competitor activity and share insights through monthly reports.
Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications Required:
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Social Sciences.
MBA in Marketing or PR (preferred).
Professional marketing qualification (e.g., CIM or equivalent).
Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Experience:
7-10 years of experience in a similar position with at least 3-4 years of management experience.
Technical/Functional Competencies:
Knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements and products.
Strong sales and marketing management skills.
