Marketing Manager, BAM
TextRole Overview:
Britam Asset Managers (BAM) is seeking a dynamic and innovative Marketing Manager to lead customer engagement and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will develop and execute marketing strategies, analyze market trends, and oversee campaigns across various channels to ensure alignment with the company’s business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Execution:
Develop and implement annual marketing strategies and budgets in collaboration with the Head of Marketing and Corporate Director.
Coordinate marketing, advertising, PR, and promotional activities for BAM in partnership with the Group Marketing Manager.
Manage the BAM segment’s content on the company’s website, intranet, and social media channels, ensuring timely updates and content development.
Develop promotional materials and tools to support business marketing efforts.
Plan, execute, and monitor all BAM marketing campaigns and measure their ROI.
Brand Development:
Act as the steward of the BAM brand, ensuring its alignment with the company’s vision and promise.
Strategize and implement initiatives to build and manage brand equity while ensuring competitive positioning.
Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competition to refine brand strategies and enhance marketplace performance.
Product Marketing & Launch:
Collaborate with segment leads to align marketing strategies with product offerings.
Oversee product launches, demand generation activities, and development of value propositions for the sales team.
Conduct market research and focus group discussions to guide product development and marketing plans.
Digital Marketing & Social Media:
Manage digital advertising campaigns, SEO, and website usability to enhance customer engagement.
Create and implement content strategies for social media and digital platforms.
Analyze digital campaign performance to ensure effective use of resources.
Research & Reporting:
Conduct market analyses, competitor activity reviews, and consumer behavior research to guide marketing strategies.
Prepare detailed monthly reports on campaign performance and market trends.
Provide actionable insights from research to support BAM’s strategic goals.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Social Sciences.
MBA in Marketing or PR is an added advantage.
Professional marketing qualifications (e.g., CIM) and membership in a relevant marketing institute.
7-10 years of experience in a similar position, with at least 3-4 years in a management role.
Technical Competencies:
Knowledge of insurance regulatory requirements and products.
Proficiency in sales and marketing management.
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms.
