KRA INTERNSHIP PROGRAM OPPORTUNITIES (January to December 2025 Intake)

Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) is offering internship opportunities to fresh graduates with a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma. This program aims to develop young talent for the Kenyan labor market and provide practical experience in various fields.

  • Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management, Marketing & Communication

  • Communications, International Relations, Diplomacy, Public Relations, Media Studies

  • Photography, Videography, Film Production, Animation, Television & Radio

  • Journalism, Mass Media & Communication, Screenwriting & Editing, Music Supervision

  • ICT, BBIT, Hospitality, Records Management, Library & Information Science

  • Security & Safety, Criminology, Criminal Justice, Forensics, Business Administration

  • Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation, Counselling Psychology, Disaster Management

  • Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Structural), Land Economics, Property Management

  • Quantity Surveying, Actuarial Science, Transport & Logistics, Fleet Management, Law

  • Education, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry

Eligibility:

  • Must be a Kenyan Citizen aged 35 or below.

  • Must have graduated between January 2023 and December 2024.

  • Must be available for full-time engagement for the 12-month program.

  • Applicants should not have prior internship or work experience in the field of specialization after graduation.

Key Details:

  • Deadline: Monday, 23rd December 2024.

  • Stipend: Kshs. 25,000 (Degree holders) and Kshs. 18,000 (Diploma holders), subject to statutory deductions.

  • Application: Only online submissions are accepted. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

PUPILLAGE PROGRAM OPPORTUNITIES (January 2025 to January 2026 Intake)
This program is for Law degree holders pursuing the Advocates Training Program at the Kenya School of Law. It offers an internship to help attain admission to the bar.

Eligibility:

  • Must be a Kenyan Citizen aged 35 or below.

  • Must have graduated with a Law degree and be enrolled in the Advocates Training Program between January 2023 and December 2024.

  • Must be available full-time for the 12-month pupillage program.

  • Upon selection, applicants must provide an introduction letter from the Kenya School of Law.

Key Details:

  • Deadline: Monday, 23rd December 2024.

  • Stipend: Same as internship program (Kshs. 25,000 for Degree holders).

  • Application: Submit via the KRA e-recruitment portal. Ensure the application is complete.

The Kenya Revenue Authority

The Kenya Revenue Authority was established by an Act of Parliament, Chapter 469 of the laws of Kenya, which became effective on 1st July 1995. KRA is charged with collecting revenue on behalf of the government of Kenya.

The core functions of the Authority are: -

  • To assess, collect and account for all revenues in accordance with the written laws and the specified provisions of the written laws.

  • To advise on matters relating to the administration of, and collection of revenue under the written laws or the specified provisions of the written laws.

  • To perform such other functions in relation to revenue as the Minister may direct.
