Position Overview:
The Junior Care Executive will assist customers with medical insurance inquiries, address concerns, explain policy details, and ensure exceptional service delivery. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, Care Center, the position is based at the Head Office in Nairobi.

Role Purpose:
Support customers with medical insurance queries while delivering a positive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process preauthorization requests for medical procedures.

• Communicate preauthorization decisions to healthcare providers and policyholders.

• Ensure compliance with preauthorization policies and guidelines.

• Respond to inquiries about policies, claims, and coverage.

• Provide accurate information on benefits, eligibility, and claim status.

• Assist customers in understanding insurance documents and policy terms.

• Help customers make informed decisions about coverage options.

• Investigate and resolve customer complaints promptly.

• Collaborate with departments to address complex issues.

• Communicate professionally via phone and email with empathy.

• Understanding of healthcare regulations and insurance practices.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a medical field.

• Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.
