Job Summary
Provide high-quality operational services to custodial clients by ensuring effective and efficient execution of settlements, payments, billing, corporate actions, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
Process Settlements: Manage equity and fixed-income settlements, ensure compliance with operating procedures, and timely posting of trades in the Central Depository.
Process Payments: Handle payment instructions, including cheques, RTGS, and book transfers, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Billing and Invoicing: Generate and process client invoices, ensure accurate billing, and manage collections.
Process Corporate Actions: Manage daily corporate action processing, including announcements, entitlements, and client communications.
Customer Service
Respond to client queries within 24 hours and ensure timely updates for pending issues.
Provide clients with market-impact notifications and assist with due diligence visits.
Risk and Compliance
Support compliance with local laws, bank risk standards, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and escalate operational incidents or complaints promptly.
Business Management
Support business development initiatives and ensure alignment with the department's strategic goals.
Provide operational support for new market opportunities and client onboarding.
People Management
Build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
Pursue personal development to enhance role effectiveness.
Key Relationships
Internal Stakeholders: Managers, colleagues, and other departments.
External Stakeholders: Clients, regulators, and market participants.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree (Second Class Honors) in a relevant field from an accredited university.
Certificate-level qualification in Securities Services (CISI) is an added advantage.
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
