Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and dynamic Human Resource Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and labor laws and be committed to fostering a positive workplace culture.

Desired Skills

Excellent knowledge of HR practices, policies, and procedures.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and manage relationships with staff at all levels.
Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities, with experience in handling employee grievances and disciplinary issues.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR matters with discretion.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HR software.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Time management skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
Manage performance appraisals and training programs.
Maintain employee records and manage HR systems.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Handle employee queries and provide HR support.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field.
Professional certification in HR (CHRP, CHRM) is an advantage.
2-3 years of HR experience.
Knowledge of Kenyan labor laws and HR best practices.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
