Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and driven Human Resource Intern to join our dynamic team. As an HR Intern at Mwananchi Credit, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of human resource management and will be involved in supporting our HR team in daily tasks and projects.

Desired Skills

Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
Help with employee onboarding and orientation.
Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
Assist in organizing staff training and development programs.
Support the HR team with performance management processes.
Handle administrative tasks such as preparing HR documents and assisting in payroll preparation.
Assist in employee engagement and wellness programs.
Respond to basic HR-related queries from employees.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or any related field.
Strong interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources.
Basic understanding of HR functions and labor laws.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Kiswahili.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Preferred Attributes

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Previous internship or volunteer experience in an HR department is an added advantage.
