Housekeeping Supervisor

Job Description

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring that service standards are met and maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction. Your role will include managing a team, handling guest concerns, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of all guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the daily operations of the housekeeping department to maintain service standards.

• Address guest concerns promptly, logging and notifying relevant departments.

• Communicate daily priorities to Room Attendants and ensure they are informed about their tasks.

• Work with the maintenance team to report necessary repairs and improvements.

• Ensure a clean and safe working environment, actively participating in health and safety initiatives.

• Conduct daily briefings with staff and supervise their tasks.

• Ensure that service standards and guest satisfaction are consistently maintained.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or a Diploma in Housekeeping.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxurious international hotel.

• Proficient in Opera and Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Ability to handle physically demanding tasks.

• Strong commitment to delivering high levels of guest service and cleanliness.

• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Collaborative and able to work cohesively within a team.
