Nova Pioneer is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled High School Biology/Chemistry Teacher for our Tatu Girls Campus, starting in January 2025. This role requires a passionate educator who will contribute to delivering an exceptional, 21st-century learning experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and real-world, enquiry-based lessons in Biology and Chemistry that align with the Kenyan curriculum.
Build and maintain positive relationships with students, their families, and colleagues.
Design and review lesson plans in partnership with the Learning Design Team.
Foster a classroom environment that encourages active learning, organization, and focus.
Inspire students by integrating passion and joy into lessons.
Provide accommodations for diverse student needs, ensuring academic and personal growth.
Take accountability for student progress and mastery of content.
Use interactive technology to enhance learning.
Set rigorous goals and offer constructive feedback to support students' academic development.
Model positive behavior and maintain discipline in the classroom.
Support extracurricular activities that contribute to well-rounded student development.
Serve as a homeroom teacher when necessary.
Skills and Qualifications
TSC certification and a relevant degree in Education (Biology/Chemistry).
At least 3 years of teaching experience in Biology/Chemistry at the high school level.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Flexibility and openness to change, with the ability to adapt to challenges.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to implement solutions effectively.
Enthusiasm for Nova Pioneer's culture and commitment to continuous growth through feedback and professional development.
