Health Centre Manager at AAR Hospital

Overall Purpose of the Job

Reporting to the Head of Clinical Business Operations, the Health Centre Manager will oversee the delivery of high-quality and cost-effective clinical services to clients while ensuring the efficient operation of the outpatient center.

Key Responsibilities

1. Patient Satisfaction:

   • Ensure excellent patient experience and satisfaction through efficient service delivery.

2. Clinical Risk Management:

   • Promote clinical risk management practices to ensure patient safety and compliance with healthcare standards.

3. Leadership and Mentorship:

   • Lead, develop, and mentor clinical staff to foster professional growth and teamwork.

4. Business Development:

   • Drive the outpatient center's business development strategy to expand its reach and impact.

5. Resource Management:

   • Ensure optimal and cost-effective utilization of resources, including staff, equipment, and supplies.

6. Administrative Oversight:

   • Direct administrative functions to ensure smooth operations at the outpatient center.

7. Service Delivery:

   • Maintain consistency and cost-effectiveness in outpatient services.

8. Service Expansion:

   • Lead initiatives to develop and expand the scope of clinical services offered at the center.

9. Protocol Compliance:

   • Ensure adherence to treatment protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

10. Planning and Budgeting:

    • Develop and implement annual operating plans and budgets to guide outpatient center operations.

Position Requirements

Education:

• Degree in Medicine & Surgery (mandatory).

• Master’s Degree (preferably in Business or Healthcare Management) will be an added advantage.

• Additional training in Business Management is highly desirable.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in clinical practice.

Skills and Attributes:

• High-level business acumen.

• Proven leadership skills with a track record of team management.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
