Department Overview:
The IRC's Global Supply Chain (GSC) Department is committed to excellence in supply chain management, providing timely and accurate information to operational teams. Through clear documentation, collaboration, and regular communication, we work to foster teamwork, efficiency, and effectiveness across our global supply chain functions.
Job Overview:
The Global Supply Chain Transformation Manager is responsible for identifying and implementing knowledge management, learning, and communication activities that support the Global Supply Chain (GSC) strategy. This role will focus on planning and executing these activities in collaboration with other IRC teams, including Global Finance, Global IT, and regional offices.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain sections of the GSC strategy and annual workplan.
Lead the development and deployment of policies and standards that promote best practices and compliance.
Oversee the supply chain learning strategy, ensuring that training and development are aligned across departments.
Work with regional supply chain staff to provide learning and training support across various IRC offices.
Support the design and execution of global supply chain meetings and communication strategies.
Produce visually impactful content and regularly share information with staff.
Track and analyze success metrics to continuously improve the effectiveness of learning and communications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, adult education, organization development, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certification preferred.
At least three years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in an international development or humanitarian aid organization.
Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.
Ability to work with diverse teams in diverse locations and engage their input effectively.
Proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented.
Travel:
Willingness to travel to IRC offices within the region up to 10% of the time.
