General Assistant at AAR Healthcare Kenya

Overall Purpose of the Job

Reporting to the Health Centre Manager, the General Assistant will provide general office and housekeeping support to maintain a clean, efficient, and safe environment at the outpatient centre.

Key Responsibilities

1. Kitchen Inventory and Equipment Management:

   • Manage kitchen inventory and ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained in good condition.

2. General Office Support:

   • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces and the overall office environment.

3. Infection Prevention and Control:

   • Implement infection prevention and control measures to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

4. Preparation of Refreshments:

   • Prepare refreshments and ensure kitchen supplies are available as needed.

Position Requirements

Education:

• K.C.S.E Certificate

• Certificate in Housekeeping or a related field is preferred.

Experience:

• At least 6 months of experience in housekeeping or a related field.

Skills and Attributes:

• Basic knowledge of housekeeping, arithmetic, and fire safety.

• Food handling certification is required.

• ICT competency for basic office tasks.

• Strong customer service skills.

• Self-motivated and a team player.
