Position Overview:
The Digital Sales Officer will engage potential customers via telephone, generate leads, and achieve sales targets. Reporting to the Head of Bancassurance and Digital Channels, the position is based at the Head Office in Nairobi.

Role Purpose:
Sell products or services over the phone, generate leads, close deals, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution:

  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients.

  • Present and explain products or services effectively.

  • Address customer objections and concerns.

  • Close sales and meet monthly targets.

Lead Generation & Follow-Up:

  • Generate leads through outreach.

  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and secure repeat business.

Sales Process Management:

  • Maintain accurate sales and customer interaction records.

Collaboration & Compliance:

  • Share best practices and strategies with the sales team.

  • Adhere to laws and regulations like AML, CFT, and Data Protection.

Key Competencies

  • Strong communication and persuasion skills.

  • Active listening and customer engagement.

  • Proven ability to close sales.

  • Relationship-building and time management.

  • Adaptability and resilience.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in a business-related field.

  • Minimum of 6 months in telesales, inside sales, or a similar role.
