Job Overview:
The Deputy Director GSC Systems plays a key role in optimizing the IRC's supply chain operations by facilitating the adoption and effective use of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Integra) system and other GSC systems. This position is responsible for the technical management of these systems, including bug fixes, system enhancements, and reporting. The Deputy Director will lead a team of system advisors and work with various departments to ensure seamless integration of technology and processes that support supply chain management across IRC's global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
System Management: Lead the technical activities related to GSC systems, including system enhancements, troubleshooting, and testing.
DevOps and Ticket Management: Oversee the ticketing system and ensure timely resolution of system issues.
Reporting and Analysis: Develop metrics to track system usage and performance, and provide regular reports to the management team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with IT, Finance, and Programs teams to address system-related issues and drive integrated solutions.
Quality Assurance: Manage system testing and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Leadership and Mentorship: Support and mentor the GSC System Advisors and ensure smooth system integration and process improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, information systems, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
At least 5 years of experience in supply chain operations, with international NGO experience preferred.
Experience with ERP systems and managing integrated solutions.
Strong MS Excel skills and experience with Microsoft Dynamics ERP system.
Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
Supply Chain certifications (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPIM, or CSCMP) preferred.
Personal Skills:
Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (e.g., French, Arabic, Spanish) are a plus.
Strong project management, coaching, and relationship management skills.
Proactive, resourceful, and results-oriented.
