Position Overview:
IRC is seeking a Deployment Manager to join our team, responsible for overseeing the deployment of emergency staff and global surge team members to crisis environments. This role plays a vital part in managing deployment processes, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting staff logistics in emergency response operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Deployment Management: Oversee and innovate the deployment process, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place and tracking staff deployments accurately.
Data Analytics & Reporting: Use advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, macros) and Power BI to manage, report, and analyze deployment data effectively. Translate data insights into actionable narratives for stakeholders.
Financial Administration: Handle deployment-related financial tasks, including managing daily rate calculations, reviewing timesheets, and providing documentation for audits.
Roster Management: Maintain an up-to-date talent roster, ensuring it matches the changing needs of emergency response teams. Promote IRC as an employer of choice.
Staff Support & Communication: Manage the travel, visa support, and orientation processes for deploying staff. Act as the point of contact for all deployment-related inquiries.
Requirements:
University degree or diploma in human resources or administration, or at least three years of comparable experience in roster or deployment systems.
Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, macros, and formulas) and Power BI (preferred but not required).
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English required; additional languages (French, Spanish, Arabic) a plus.
Experience in deployment systems or emergency team management is highly desirable.
