Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Data Analyst, Team Lead to manage and mentor a team of analysts, oversee key projects, and deliver actionable insights that shape business strategies. In this role, you will collaborate across departments, ensure the effective delivery of analytics initiatives, and foster professional growth within your team.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of 3-4 Data Analysts. Foster professional growth, provide regular feedback, and ensure the successful delivery of analytics projects.
Project Management & Delivery: Oversee the team’s workload, manage data analytics projects, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of business-aligned outcomes.
Cross-Organizational Collaboration: Work with Data Engineering, Architecture, GIS, and Product teams to align analytics efforts with organizational strategies. Partner with various departments to address data needs and integrate insights into business processes.
Data Visualization & Reporting: Create impactful data visualizations and reports that effectively communicate insights and support decision-making.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on trends, tools, and methodologies in data analysis, fostering innovation and improvement within the team.
Data Governance: Ensure compliance with data governance policies, privacy regulations, and ethical standards to protect data integrity and security.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of experience in data analytics, including at least 1 year in a leadership or management role.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of statistical methods.
Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of data governance principles, privacy regulations, and ethical standards.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with machine learning concepts and applications.
Knowledge of global commodity supply chains and sustainability practices.
Experience working with voluntary standards in agriculture or forestry.
