Job Description
Overview:
This position is part of the Marketing Technology department, responsible for managing the IRC’s digital solutions that handle audience data, drive engagement, and convert supporters. The CRM Data Specialist will help develop and grow the quality of audience data, ensuring the organization reaches all targets. This role focuses on quality assurance, data stewardship, data pull routines, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into Salesforce.
Design, implement, and maintain data upload workflows to ensure seamless integration.
Automate recurring data processing operations to optimize efficiency.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to refine templates and ensure alignment with project requirements.
Monitor and enhance database performance for operational efficiency.
Identify and resolve data inconsistencies using SQL queries.
Provide ongoing technical support for data issues and automation challenges.
Act as a subject matter expert on database processes and data handling.
Key Working Relationships:
Reports to: Associate Director, Integrations & Automations
Works closely with global colleagues in CRM, digital technology, and analytics teams.
May collaborate with external vendors and consultants.
Impact of Work:
Supports the IRC’s ability to generate over $60 million annually in digital donations and enhances data management for fundraising and policy initiatives.
Job Qualifications
Education:
Minimum: Associate’s Degree
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Management (ETL processes, CRM, and relational databases).
Experience with database objects, SQL query performance tuning, and sophisticated data manipulation.
Proficiency in Salesforce and programming languages, especially with DBAmp for Salesforce data integration.
Exceptional analytical skills with a strong focus on data accuracy.
Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Salesforce NPSP (Nonprofit Success Pack).
Experience with MS Office VBA for process automation.
Experience with web services or APIs.
Familiarity with Agile delivery models.
Working Environment:
Fully remote position with occasional collaboration with cross-functional teams.
