Cost Controller

Job Description

As a Cost Controller, you will ensure professional, friendly, and engaging service while managing food and beverage costs and procedures. Your responsibilities include monitoring and controlling inventory, sales, and issuance procedures to optimize the overall cost structure, improving efficiencies, and minimizing waste.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to all staff and guests.

• Monitor and control procedures related to receipt, issuance, general controls, and sales of food and beverage.

• Calculate costs for food and beverage items and input them into the point of sales system.

• Prepare monthly potential food and beverage costs of sales.

• Ensure proper storage and issuance of food and beverage items.

• Establish and maintain a cost allocation transfer system for food and beverage items to relevant departments.

• Monitor and manage inventories, costs, and internal cost controls for food and beverage.

• Recommend cost-saving alternatives to improve food and beverage expenses.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role required.

• Experience with point of sale systems is essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows applications and related computer software.

• Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Highly responsible and reliable.

• Diploma or degree in accounting or related field.
