Consultancy - Creative Expert at Palladium

Overview
The Challenge Fund for Youth Employment (CFYE) is a €134 million program funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It aims to create jobs and income opportunities for 230,000 young women and men across several regions, including Kenya. This consultancy will support three Kenyan implementing partners (USIU, Swahili Pot Foundation, and KEPSA in partnership with Twiva) in overcoming challenges in partnerships, data collection, and impact measurement.
Responsibilities
Program Evaluation: Assess project design, effectiveness, and alignment with CFYE’s job pathways (Create, Match, Improve).
Partnership Support: Review and improve current strategies, providing necessary linkages.
Strategic Guidance: Offer institutional and program-level support to implementing partners.
Data and Impact Measurement: Enhance monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) capabilities.
Deliverables
Workplans: Detailed rollout plans for each IP.
Coaching Sessions: Strategic coaching for IP staff and leadership.
Final Report: Diagnostic findings and a roadmap for sustainable implementation.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in communication, multimedia arts, graphic design, or related field.
Senior management experience in the creative sector.
Proven expertise in business advisory and diagnostics for creative companies in Kenya.
Willingness to conduct on-site assessments.
Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.
Engagement Details
Duration: 30 days across 4 months (Feb-May 2024).
