Position Overview
Appointment Type: Permanent, Definite Not to Exceed 5 Years
Security Clearance Required: Secret/Confidential Clearance
Start Date: Anticipated Summer 2025 (June)
Candidate must begin work within a reasonable period after receiving agency authorization and/or clearances.
Duties
Provide consular services to U.S. citizens.
Conduct non-adjudicatory visa processing.
Assist with investigations and validation studies.
Handle correspondence with the public, attorneys, U.S. and host governments, Congress, and other parties.
Qualifications
Experience:
Minimum three years of office administrative experience, including at least one year of consular experience.
Alternate qualifications:
Two years of office administration (FP-07 Training Level).
One year of office administration (FP-08 Training Level).
Preference will be given to candidates qualified at the full performance level.
Education: Completion of High School is required.
Language: Level IV (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing of English is required.
Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Attention to detail for data input and error correction.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOS Secret Security Clearance.
