Job Description

As a Chef De Partie at Fairmont Mara Safari Club, you will be responsible for maintaining consistency in food preparation and presentation, following hotel recipes and standards. You will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, collaborating with the team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences while upholding the highest standards of quality.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Provide professional, friendly, and proactive service to guests and fellow team members.

  • Ensure consistency in food preparation for a la carte and buffet menus, adhering to hotel recipes and standards.

  • Actively contribute ideas and suggestions during daily shift briefings.

  • Communicate with F&B service teams to address guest feedback and ensure high satisfaction.

  • Maintain proper rotation of products, utensils, and equipment in the kitchen.

  • Comply with HACCP regulations and policies for food safety.

  • Keep up-to-date with all menu items, daily features, and promotions.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in the culinary field is required.

  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Windows applications is an asset.
