Business Development Associate – Kakamega at Zeraki

Location: Kakamega, Kenya

Gross Salary: KES 35,000 - 45,000 plus commissions

About the Role

Zeraki is seeking smart, driven, and resilient individuals for the role of Business Development Associate in Kakamega to sell educational technology products to schools. This role will focus on onboarding new customers, supporting existing ones, and gathering valuable feedback to ensure high customer satisfaction while maintaining Zeraki’s leadership position as the top EdTech brand in Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive sales of Zeraki’s educational technology products to schools in Kakamega.

• Onboard new customers and provide ongoing support to existing customers.

• Gather customer feedback to improve service satisfaction and retention strategies.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Passion for education and the EdTech sector.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with schools.

• A self-starter with the drive to exceed sales targets.

• Willingness to work long hours, including nights and weekends, if necessary.

• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Grit and resilience to overcome challenges, especially when a sale does not go through.

• No prior experience required, but any experience in sales, marketing, or customer service will be beneficial.
