Nova Pioneer Tatu Primary is seeking talented educators who are currently enrolled or have recently graduated from a teaching college or university. The internship offers three months of volunteer work experience starting in January 2025, providing an opportunity to deliver an exceptional 21st Century learning experience in an inquiry-based teaching model.

Role Responsibilities:
Provide a safe, secure environment for students
Plan and execute activities according to curriculum, schemes of work, and lesson plans
Offer resources for students to explore and engage with in learning and play
Instruct and monitor students in using materials to prevent injury and damage
Organize activities that promote physical, mental, and social development
Observe and evaluate students’ progress and provide written reports to the Principal and parents
Maintain class order and enforce behavioral policies
Lead field trips and experiential activities, promoting learning from them
Attend professional meetings, conferences, and workshops
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Enrollment or completion of a teaching course (e.g., Bachelor of Education, Primary Teacher Education, ECDE)
Strong recommendations from high school, teacher training institution, or previous educational employers
Passion for teaching and working with children
Familiarity with technology such as G-Suite, Zoom, Word, Powerpoint, and Excel
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Flexible, proactive, and open to feedback
Enthusiastic about developing leadership skills and transforming the lives of African youth
