Nova Pioneer is seeking a Junior Secondary Creative/Visual Arts Teacher for a part-time position at Tatu Girls High School, starting January 2025. This role requires an experienced teacher with a passion for delivering 21st-century learning experiences and who has a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach Creative/Visual Arts to secondary students.
Build and maintain positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
Develop and revise lesson plans, ensuring they meet educational goals and engage students.
Create a learning environment that is stimulating and appropriate for student development.
Foster a passion for learning, inspiring students to excel academically and creatively.
Implement accommodations to support the growth and success of all students.
Use technology to enhance lesson delivery and student learning.
Set rigorous academic goals, provide consistent feedback, and track student progress.
Support extracurricular activities and school-wide programs.
Be involved in behavior interventions and serve as a homeroom or boarding teacher as needed.
Qualifications:
TSC certificate.
Bachelor’s degree in Education, with qualification in Creative/Visual Arts and one other teaching subject.
Minimum C+ grade in the relevant subjects and in KCSE.
At least 1-2 years of teaching experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Flexible, solution-oriented, and excited to embrace Nova Pioneer’s culture of growth.
Eager to develop leadership skills and contribute to transforming education in Africa.
